We go on stage at 6:15 on the dot. All performers have to be there at 5:45 in the south stage dressing room, dressed (as much as you can be), hair done, makeup on and ready to perform. We will add the costume pieces, hats and props when you get there, so PLEASE be on time!
Parents - Please provide on your own those items that are bolded ASAP so you will have them ready to wear at the dress rehearsal. *The other pieces we are letting you borrow for this performance and need to be returned at the end of the performance. Utah's Best Cookie Dough Fundraiser starts
Monday November 8th and will go only 1 week.
It ends Monday November 15nd. This is a great fundraiser! You get 1/2 the money for what ever you sell.
This is how it works:
1 -Sign up at front desk. Collect your cookie dough order form, instructions & payment envelope.
2 - Ask friends and family to help sponsor your dancing by buying some yummy cookie dough.
They write the checks to you. NOT US!
3 - Return the order form & a check for 1/2 of the total amount made out to Steps Dance Studio by Monday November 15. You keep the rest of the money to help with dance.
The order will be filled and delivered to the Studio on Thursday 18th. Because it is cookie dough and we want it to stay fresh you need to plan on picking up your order between 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
Deliver it to those that ordered right away or freeze right away.
Good Luck & have fun.

Note To All: This first month has gone well. I just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to share our love of dance with you. It is so great to see all of the dancers improving already. I am so excited about the great potential of this studio and the great potential of the dancers here. This year will be a great one. We are opening up the Studio to those of you that have small business and would like to rent a 5x8 booth. We have a great location that we feel would be a benefit to the boutiques success. We are charging much less then the Barn Boutique happening the same day and we will take no percentage of your earnings. We will be advertizing along side the other events that day.
Studio Members - $65 before Friday October 22
Open to the Publilc - $75 until it is full

-We are having our annual Thriller Night. Bring your friends, sisters, moms, & Daughters! For ALL Ladies about 12 and older. Wednesday Oct 27th 8:00 $5 a person.
Come do a short warm up and then learn the thriller dance (Susie Style) it is soooo fun! You can check out pictures from last year on the Steps Dance and Performing Arts face book page.
-All dancers are welcome to wear their costume to dance class the week of Halloween. we will do some fun Halloween choreography tricks and have a treat. (Please no masks or weapons) Thanks

Remember: THE FIRST TIME IS FREE! After that the price is $5 a time or purchase a 10 time punch card for $38 NEW TIMES: Tuesday - Zumba 7:00 - 8:00pm & Pilate's 8:00 - 9:00pm Thursday - Kick boxing (Starting in November) 7:00 - 8:00pm & Zumba 8:00 - 9:00pm

(This means you need to be there dressed and completely ready to go on stage at 5:45pm) We are performing on the South Stage. Tickets are available now the order forms with payment are due by Friday October 22. (only your dancer gets in free) I will be sending home information about this event and an order form to order tickets this week.
- Team Warm Ups are now available to order. They are not required but highly recommended! They are $70 They include pants & jacket with your dancers name embroidered on the jacket and our studio name printed on the back. They are nice quality. These are great to have and wear to and from events. ( At the competitions the dancers need to either be wearing the Studio warm ups or a Studio t-shirt.)We are also going to wear these warm ups in the Show Team picture this year.
The warm ups are at the studio NOW for you to try on, order sizes and pay. They will be available until Friday October 29th.

You all did a great job at the auditions I hope you had fun because I did. I am excited about the potential this year! We are doing our part by giving you great teachers and great instruction. But remember your personal success and improvement depends on your attendance, commitment, attitude and practice. We will have an awesome year!
I have altered the hours just a little so make sure you know when you are supposed to come. I have also changed some of the names of the show teams.
Classes start Wednesday September 1.
There is a mandatory parents & dancer meeting on Wednesday September 1st at 7:00 at the studio for all the regular and Hip Hop Show Teams. While I am talking to the parents my costume lady will be in the other room measuring the kids for their costumes & team outfits.
If you are new and want to get some team warm ups with your name on the jacket I will be doing another order for them the first week of October. The warm ups are 70.00 For the set.
